In winter, it transforms into a skiing and snowboarding hotspot, while during the warmer months, it offers scenic trekking trails. Pahalgam, often called the “Valley of Shepherds, ” is a peaceful retreat surrounded by pine forests and the beautiful Lidder River. Sonmarg is perfect for those looking for serenity and untouched beauty.

Itinerary

Day 1

Gandhinagar to Pathankot

Distance: 1150 KM | Duration: 23-24 hrs

  • Reporting at Gandhinagar Capital Junction at 10:00 AM.
  • Gandhinagar to Pathankot by train (Sleeper class - Non AC).
  • Overnight journey in train (GNC JAT Express: 19223).

Distance: 210 KM | Duration: 7-8 hrs

  • Arrival at Pathankot in afternoon.
  • Check in to budget hotel for freshen up.
  • 6 to 7 hours of leisure time to explore local market of Pathankot or rest at hotel.
  • Late night departure for Srinagar. (Overnight Journey)

Meals – Breakfast & Dinner

  • Arriving at hotel in Srinagar.
  • After breakfast, check-in to the hotel (Check-in after 11 AM).
  • After freshen up, visit Mughal Gardens (Chashmeshah, Pari Mahal, Nishat Garden & Shalimar Garden - entry ticket self).
  • Return to hotel and have dinner.

Meals – Breakfast & Dinner

  • After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for Gulmarg.
  • At Gulmarg Parking enjoy the scenic beauty of mountains, palace & museum. Horses, mules will be at own cost.
  • Enjoy local sightseeing including famous Gondola Ride (at your cost, pre-booking required).
  • Drive back to Srinagar.
  • Overnight stay and dinner at Srinagar hotel.

Meals – Breakfast & Dinner

  • After breakfast at the hotel proceed for Sonmarg.
  • Enjoy mountain hill views on the way.
  • Local sightseeing tour including Thajiwas Glacier & Zojila Zero Point (own cost).
  • Drive back to Srinagar.
  • Overnight stay and dinner at Srinagar hotel.
  • Note: In case of snowfall vehicle will not drop you at Sonmarg. Local vehicle must be hired. If Sonmarg road is closed, Doodhpatri sightseeing will be arranged.

Meals – Breakfast & Dinner

  • After breakfast visit Shankaracharya Temple.
  • Enjoy complimentary Shikara Ride in Dal Lake (Included in package).
  • Free time to explore local market.
  • Return to hotel & dinner.

  • After breakfast checkout from the hotel & depart for Pahalgam.
  • Hire Union Vehicle for sightseeing of Aru Valley, Betab Valley & Chandan Valley (own cost).
  • Explore Pahalgam, known as the Valley of Shepherds.
  • After sightseeing depart for Pathankot by overnight journey.

Distance: 1150 KM | Duration: 23-24 hrs

  • Pathankot to Gandhinagar by Sleeper Class Non AC train (JAT GNC Express: 19224).

  • To confirm your booking, 50% payment of total cost will be advanced. Which will be Non Refundable. Whole/Full payment must be paid on the day of departure.

  1. 1.This is not a leisure tour, It's a Camp. Facilities of the trip will be basic as per Itinerary.
  2. 2.All the facilities, schedule / amenities and services mentioned above or any unpredicted situations like Govt. restrictions for COVID-19 situation/ vehicle strike / permit issues or others are clearly subjected to weather conditions or it may be changed or cancelled by the organization without any prior notice.
  3. 3.No refund will be given in the case of participants terminates the trip at any point due to any reason.
  4. 4.Discipline during the trip duration is must and all are expected to follow instructions given by the volunteer / instructor / guide. Misbehave / arguing with the volunteers /guide / instructors will be considered as disciplinary issues and speaking abusive language will be reacted strictly and may lead to cancel a participation.
  5. 5.Only pure vegetarian food will be provided in whole trip.
  6. 6.No Person / Adventure Expeditions will not be responsible for any loss of the luggage or valuables carried by the participants.
